I've decided that I need to keep a better record of my children's lives otherwise they will be all grown up before I blink. So, we have started this blog "My Sweet Cacoozies". So, what is a "Cacoozie"? Well, this is a term that Michael used a couple of days ago to describe the stage when a caterpillar changes into a butterfly and it stuck. So, welcome to My Sweet Cacoozies!

Picture Time

Here are some pictures we had taken in February . . . Sorry, it took me a little while to get them posted. I really liked the photographer (JCPenny Special). I told her I didn't really like posed pictures and preferred play pictures that show my kids and their personalities. She was the first one that listened.

Michael loves to carry things around with him. Everyday he tries to sneak a toy to school or out to run errands or into bed. On picture day he had this car that he said Todd gave him from when Todd was a kid. I don't know if that it was true, but since the photographer couldn't get him to get rid of it she embraced the car.

This picture is actually a lot cuter than just the kids being grumpy and pouting (which they do do frequently). I'm standing off to the left with my hands on my hips looking down at them. It is a really cute set-up (if only I could get a body double). Let's just say that I'm not skinniest that I've ever been at the moment. Therefore, I had to be cut out because I'm just not flattering at all :).

And there you go.

  1. I've been telling myself for the last two weeks that I really need to get the kids in for pictures. I really gotta do it! I've had pretty good luck with JCP. for pics, too.

  2. Love these pictures. The colors you guys are in are great. It's nice to have a photographer who actually listens. We also like JCP, they know me by name (scary!).

  3. I like the one of them looking back at each other. You all look great. Sears is our quicky, picture place of choice.
