I've decided that I need to keep a better record of my children's lives otherwise they will be all grown up before I blink. So, we have started this blog "My Sweet Cacoozies". So, what is a "Cacoozie"? Well, this is a term that Michael used a couple of days ago to describe the stage when a caterpillar changes into a butterfly and it stuck. So, welcome to My Sweet Cacoozies!

The Tooth Fairy

Miss Emily hates to loose her teeth. She just babies them, and holds them in as long as possible. So, here is a picture of what Emily's lovely front two teeth finally ended up looking like before I gave her the ultimatum . . . she had one week to wiggle them out herself or I would pull them out.
They look like fake little chiclet teeth. So, after a week . . . the teeth were still in. So, I got out the floss and tied it around each tooth and then to the closet door and the left one came out . . . but not the right one. Here is a picture right after we pulled the first one.
Isn't she cute. Then, Emily begged and begged to have more time so I told her she could have one more week. But now the tooth has shifted to the middle of her mouth is all crooked. She looks like unkept, redneck.
Somehow I don't think I'll be able to let that tooth stay much longer.

  1. Wahahaha, that's great. I can't believe she let you do the floss and door method.

  2. I can't believe your dad hasn't taught you to pull teeth!! Martin grabs the tooth, pushes it up slightly, and then a gentle twist finishes it off. The pushing up part makes a massive difference!
