Talk Like a Pirate Day!

So, September 18th was Talk Like a Pirate Day and to celebrate (on the Saturday before) we went to a Pirate Faire. Here are some pictures of my kids "enjoying" the faire:

They walked down the way and enjoyed the lake for a while, got their shoes all muddie and added about 50 rocks and 20 sticks into the lake and run up and down the dock.



The played on the "piratie" play set which was just like 100 different park play sets that are located within 10 miles of our house (the Pirate Faire was about 2 hours away).



And Emily found some ladybugs to play with.



And finally, right before we left, I talked them into posing for a picture that looked somewhat like a Pirate Faire.



They did also enjoy a couple of snow cones, a funnel cake, a juggling act and begging me every 10 minutes to buy something. What Fun!! I can't wait to do it again.
