I've decided that I need to keep a better record of my children's lives otherwise they will be all grown up before I blink. So, we have started this blog "My Sweet Cacoozies". So, what is a "Cacoozie"? Well, this is a term that Michael used a couple of days ago to describe the stage when a caterpillar changes into a butterfly and it stuck. So, welcome to My Sweet Cacoozies!

It's A Sad Day

It's a sad day when Disney feels that they need to put warning labels on their balloons.

The label says "Warning Choking Hazard" Children under 8 years can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons. Adult supervision required. Keep uninflated balloons from children. Discard broken balloons at once.

I've decided that it is labels like this that are the downfall of all advanced societies. As societies advance the people get soft and start looking out for the underprivileged, sick and helpless. Now, I'm not saying that all charity is bad. But, when you allow the natural laws of survival of the fittest to occur then the 8 year old child that is not smart enough to know not to swallow the balloon dies. With these labels (and many other examples), the 8 year old lives a long protected life and has many, many children that all require me to work so my tax dollars can support them . . . and that is the real downfall of advanced societies. Yes, I know I'm heartless.
