I've decided that I need to keep a better record of my children's lives otherwise they will be all grown up before I blink. So, we have started this blog "My Sweet Cacoozies". So, what is a "Cacoozie"? Well, this is a term that Michael used a couple of days ago to describe the stage when a caterpillar changes into a butterfly and it stuck. So, welcome to My Sweet Cacoozies!

Holiday Christmas Program

Every year my kid's daycare has a holiday program where all of the parents come to watch their kids sing a song or two.

Here is Emily singing and dancing to the Snow Miser. She did a great job. I think the high heeled shoes give an interesting twist to her outfit. I'll need to work on that for next time.

Michael on the other hand . . .

Here is a picture of Michael (far left) right after the curtain opened. Notice he is the only one NOT wearing a hat. They tried to get him to put his hat on backstage, but he refused. Anyway, the curtain opened, he saw me, he smiled, he waved, he looked around and saw everyone else, his face scrunched up, his shoulder came up to his ear as he turned to the side. Then he slowly shrunk back to the risers behind until he crumpled up in a ball on the risers and started crying. What are you supposed to do as a parent. I waited to see if the teachers would save him or help him. Then I waited to see if he would recover and then . . . I went up and saved him. I walked to the stage and picked him up and took him back to sit with me. It is so hard to see your kids struggle.
