So, anyone who knows me knows that I'm not very careful with my things. Particularly, keys, phones, purses, credit cards, check book, etc. So, Saturday afternoon when I realized that I no longer had my debit card after we were about 45 minutes from the park where my kids had been playing with the I-Pad . . . I was not surprised that it had probably fallen out and gotten left at the park.
Therefore, since I didn't want to drive back to the park, I called and canceled the card. Did you know it takes them 5-7 days to send you a new card? Did you know that now that I have downsized my life and ONLY carry with me one card, my driver's license, my I-pad and my phone, that it is really hard to get anything done when your one card is missing?
The kids wanted ice cream, which I ordered at a drive-thru before realizing I didn't have any money (or a card). I had to work last night and was going to get a the kids a RedBox Movie . . . but they don't take cash, etc, etc.
Oh, and I didn't even REALLY lose the card. On Friday night after I got gas, I was too lazy to put the card back in my I-pad case and just through it into my computer bag. I found the card Monday when I was unpacking my stuff at work :)
