The Perfect Saturday

We had a perfect Saturday this week. First we woke-up laid in bed for a bit and tickled, cuddled and picked on the kids. Then we got up and cleaned the house top to bottom as a family. It is so wonderful that the kids are able to help out now. Once we were done with all of our work at 8:30 am (yes, we live in California, but we live according to the East Coast Time Zone :) ) we headed to the park. Here is a picture of Michael playing.


I tried to take a picture of Emily . . . but of course she hid her face!

It was only after I reminded her that I would show her the previous picture when she asked why there were no pictures of her as a kid that she would smile for the camera.


Then we headed down to Orange County to pick up Emily's new glasses. She is very excited to have glasses now and told me this morning . . . "No Offense Mom, but it seems to me that all smart people have glasses.". Hmmmm.


She is standing next to me now and just said "Hey wait, I want to seem my picture with glasses . . . I look so cute".

Then we came home for my favorite part of the day (nap time) and headed to the pool. It was a really great day!
