For those of you who don't know . . . Halloween is my favorite holiday. So, here are our fun happenings.
Friday Night we carved our pumpkins . . . and our pumpkins were much better than any of my siblings pumpkins.
Emily and Michael thought that the pumpkin guts were disgusting so Emily finally got the kitchen gloves out so she didn't have to touch them.
Although Michael was able to get his guts out (with the gloves) he refused to carve his . . . so he used a marker instead and then was mad that the candle didn't show through :)
Mine is the one on the right . . . it rocks!!
Saturday Morning we got up, cleaned the house and took the kids to the OC Zoo. We didn't know that it was the BUSIEST day at that zoo, but we had a great time with a treasure hunt and petting animals, etc.
The kids even talked me into renting one of those bike gondola things. I definitely got my workout for the day :)
Then we went home for a nap for Michael (after knocked a chair over on his head), playing make-up with Lily, and baking a pie for Mom.
And we finished it all up with the Ward Trunk-O-Treat Party.

Today, we dropped Michael off at school and then I went to help at Emily's school. Below is her classes Halloween Picture.
